WEIGHT LOSS

Wave goodbye to chocolate cravings!

Most people have tried to lose weight at some point over the years but find that once they stop following the latest fad diet, the weight piles back on again.

The conventional 'diet'
The conventional approach to dieting sees the only cause of being overweight as overeating, and therefore sees weight loss as being achieved by eating less calories. This is almost never effective in the longer term. Dieting in this way can reduce your metabolic rate, making it more and more difficult to lose weight even if you are eating very little.

The nutritional approach
Since we are all individuals, each person's weight loss programme will be different. Important factors include the avoidance of foods to which you may be intolerant, which can cause fluid retention, balancing of blood sugar, stress maintenance, hormone balancing and toxin elimination.  It may be appropriate to check the function of your thyroid gland, as the thyroid has a major influence on the metabolic rate.

In addition, a good supplement regime can boost the metabolic rate and ensure that once weight is lost, the pounds do not pile on once more.

DID YOU KNOW?
The humble onion is the richest dietary source of a powerful antioxidant called quercetin. In addition, it can lower cholesterol, thin the blood and ward off infection.
